Professional Development in Education 40.2 Published

Issue 2 of Volume 40 of the Association’s flagship journal has just been published on-line at: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rjie20/current.

This Issue, edited by Dr Alex Alexandrou, Associate Editor, identifies four clear themes:

“Firstly, professional development activities, courses and initiatives must adhere to policy and reform priorities. Secondly, professional development and learning must connect and engage participating practitioners from an emotional and intellectual perspective. Thirdly, the subject matter must have contextual, cultural and practical relevance. Fourthly, professional development and learning activities should be grounded in adult learning concepts and theories. “
