IPDA England holds first Lightning Conference on Qualitative data collection & generation methods

IPDA England presented the first online ‘lightning conference’, giving researchers and early career researchers the platform for short, 7 minute prensetations on an issue/topic regarding qualitative data collection and generation methods.

The lightning conference, just like the main IPDA conference, was a warm, friendly and welcoming event, providing an excellent opportunity to:

• ‘Have a go’ at a ‘mini’ conference, for those early career researchers (ECRs) who may not have presented before.
• Make connections with other ECRs who are researching with qualitative methods, and keep in touch with them afterwards.
• Put your work out to a wider audience.
• Share and test ideas!
• Receive some questions and queries about your study – always good to get thinking!
• Prepare for IPDA’s main conference in 2024.
