Harnessing Creativity in Changing Times: Risk, Resilience and Professional Learning

Editors: Hazel Bryan, Alex Kendall

We invite submissions for a special edition of Practice that responds to the themes of our 2019 conference.

What is creativity in the context of professional learning?  Do we need it?

What are the associated risks and benefits?

  • for practitioners?
  • for learners?
  • for research and researchers?

Is there a relationship between creativity and resilience?

Submissions are welcome from authors who have submitted to the conference but contributions from colleagues not able to attend are also welcome.

Submission:

Please submit your abstract to Admin@Ipda.org.uk with ‘Practice Volume 2, Issue 2’ in the subject line by 30th September 2019. The abstract should be a self-contained statement that communicates the purpose, scope, findings and/or implications and conclusions of the work. It is particularly important that you clearly outline how your submission constitutes a significant and original contribution to knowledge and/or practice and how the work itself was conducted in a rigorous way.
