Professional Development in Education 40.1 Published

Issue 1 of Volume 40 of the Association’s flagship journal has just been published on-line at: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rjie20/current.

As part of the celebrations of such a milestone a number of seminal articles will be re-published throughout the year in subsequent Issues. “Continuing Professional Development: nurturing the expert within” the article by Marion Dadds is the first to feature, it is well worth reading again for the insights and perspective that Marion provides.

Other articles in the Issue focus on the key questions of ‘impact’ and evaluation; professional and academic identity; learning through projects; needs assessment; cultural competence; professional learning; and the challenges facing beginning teachers.

All ipda members who have recently renewed their memberships or joined for 2014 will shortly receive their hard copy of 40.1 by post.
