17 June 2025: IPDA Four Nations Workload Online Symposium

IPDA Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales are working in collaboration to host a small symposium/webinar online to examine common challenges affecting teachers’ workload and wellbeing in the divergent education policy contexts they represent.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday June 17th at 4pm–5.30pm and will provide a great opportunity to share perspectives and compare patterns of workload, wellbeing and capacity across the four nations involved.

The webinar will be chaired by Catriona Oates, organiser and chair of IPDA Scotland on the following basis:
- Welcome and introductions
- Part 1: Brief presentations on current issues on the topic (maximum 10 minutes each) from professional associations and/or researchers from each of the national associations – 40 mins
- Part 2: A moderated panel discussion with audience questions suggested in advance on this padlet (password –4Nations)
- Plan/actions for future work on this theme and/or agenda setting
- Close at 5.30
