February 14, 2025
IPDA Ireland is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our first Emerging and Early Career Researcher Event in March 2025.
Date: 20th of March 2025
Time: 17.00 – 18.30
Host: Dr Niamh Hickey
Venue: Online
Registration: Eventbrite
IPDA Ireland’s first Emerging and Early Career Researcher Event offers an opportunity for emerging and early career members of the IPDA Ireland community to engage in conversation with peers and to explore shared experiences of navigating research issues and challenges. In this online event, there will be an opportunity to network and connect with other emerging and early career researchers, to share and discuss elements of your research, and to discuss experiences of engaging with insider-outsider research and ‘the space between’. Attendees are asked to read “The Space Between: On Being an Insider-Outsider in Qualitative Research” by Dr. Sonya Corbin Dwyer and Dr. Jennifer L. Buckle in advance of the event to stimulate thinking and discussion. We very much look forward to welcoming you on the 20th of March.
