Professional Learning in Global Times

Professional Development 41.5 is now published on-line.

Issue 5 of Volume 41 of the Association’s flagship journal is now available on-line.

Edited by Associate Editor Professor Howard Stevenson of the University of Nottingham, UK.

Howard’s Editorial introduces the articles in this Issue and comments on how they reflect the complex ways in which education ideas travel around the world.

41.5 has articles reporting an evaluation of a short in-service teacher development programme supporting the teaching of English as a foreign language in China; an article considering a professional development programme in Abu Dhabi designed to support the learning needs of school principals; an Israeli case study of an MEd programme in science education; a case study article from Zambia focusing on school-based professional development and finally an article from the USA concentrating on the question ‘How do teachers describe the influence of accountability on their professional learning?’

All ipda members will receive their personal print copy of 41.5 by post over the next few weeks.

Arrangements are in hand for the publication of Volume 42, so make sure you renew your ipda membership for 2016 to secure your posted hard copy.
