Nabil Jondi

Nabil Jondi
Chair

Institution: Hebron University 

Professor in psychology and education, got his PhD in 2003,
He has been a manager and coordinator of more than 7
international funded projects (Erasmus+, and World Bank QIF
&TEIP projects). He published more than 50 research articles in referee Journals; contributed to many national and international conferences. Moreover, he worked as a dean of College of Education at Hebron University form many years; organized many national conferences in Education and Psychology; carried out dozens of international training workshops linked to Education and Psychology. He has a wide overseas experience in project coordination in cooperation with EU partner universities such as UK, Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Norway, and other EU countries during the implementing the various projects at which he was involved. He Worked as external evaluator for many projects; built many Strategic Plans for local Charities and Associations.
He worked closely with the Ministry of Higher Education in Palestine on many educational initiatives; supervised more than 100 masters students; a reviewer for some National and International Journals; in addition, he has a wide experience in teacher training and (ToT) and in teaching in the College of Education at Hebron University. He built and developed many new programmes in HU. He is an expert in data analysis both qualitative and qualitative using the appropriate software.

Khaled Abed El Jaleel Dweikat

Affiliation: Al-Quds Open University, Palestine

Khaled is an Associate Professor of English language curriculum & Instruction at Al-Quds Open University (QOU) in Palestine. He has been working for QOU since 1999. Three years ago, Khaled became the Chair of Practicum courses and Graduation Projects at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. In addition to being a full-time academic member at QOU, he has worked as a part-time lecturer at An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. Khaled has published 25 research papers in the fields of English language teaching, teacher education, blended learning, m-learning and practicum training. Furthermore, between 1999- 2020, he participated in more than 30 conferences locally, regionally and internationally. During his work at QOU, he participated in many international projects led by outside partners and sponsors including the World Bank, Erasmus+, Cyprus University and Belgium, British Council, AMIDEAST etc.

He was a member of the scientific committee of several conferences held in Palestine. He also participated in many training programs and workshops held in UK, Germany and Turkey within a project funded by Erasmus+ in 2020. His academic interest areas are social learning networks, educational multimedia, open and distance learning, online learning and special educational technology. He has journal articles published in international indexes, papers submitted to international meetings.

BuadKhales

Buad Khales
Treasurer

Institution: Associate Professor – Department of primary Education and Kindergarten, Director of Child Institute. AlQuds University

Buad is an educational counselor, she works as consultant in developing strategic plans with the Ministry of education- Palestine. She is a consultant in professional standards for early childhood teacher education, with the ministry of education – Palestine and a consultant in Alrrowad company Saudi Arabia in early childhood program (training and training kit). Buad has published 21 papers focused on child- centered teaching, Reflective teaching, Portfolio, inquiry, and new teaching methods in early childhood education. She has also published a chapter in a book. She leads the team to Study on the Quality and Access of Early Childhood Education – with a focus on Preschool institutions in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Buad has supervised masters theses in early childhood. She has offered educational counseling for different organizations (Aleman childhood center, Alrowad company, Ministry of Education, Bawaker society).

MuntherZyoud

Montaser Al-Halabi
Secretary

Institution: Al-Azhar University-Gaza

Montaser works for Al-Azhar University-Gaza where his current position is the Director of the Practicum Department at the Faculty of Education. In addition to some other development work, he has multi discipline experiences and degrees, with a master degree in education, a master degree in Information Technology and a degree in electronics. His specialism is in introducing new methods in education that utilize critical thinking and creativity.

He was assigned with the task of establishing an open course Platform for the faculty of education, and he was assigned to establish the virtual learning environment for Al-Azhar using moodle. Moreover, he has a YouTube free education channel providing tutorials of using technologies, like Smart boards, interactive projector, and moodle, some tutorials are used in all the Arab world, especially the smart board. MahmoudManasrah

Mahmoud Manasrah

Institution: Hebron University

Mahmoud holds a masters degree in administrative education. He worked as an English teacher, School Principle in secondary schools, the head of supervision department in the directorate of education in Hebron, deputy director of education and director of education. He has experience in TVET and managed the Spanish academy for training in many deferent majors.
Mahmoud worked as the local consultant for the World Bank with the ministry of education and Palestinian universities to train unqualified teachers.

Currently he works part time in Hebron University and Al-quds Open University. He has much experience in training teachers (pre-service) and in-service teachers. He has good experience in training in different subjects and preparing materials for workshops.

Mahmoud is involved in the Global Challenges Research Fund project with CCCU University (UK).

MohammedFarrah

Mohammed Abdel Hakim Farrah

Mohammad is an Associate Professor in Applied Linguistics (Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Technology in Language Learning and Teaching). He graduated with a BA from Hebron University in 1994 in English Language and Literature, MA in TESOL from International Islamic University in Malaysia in 1999, Ph.D. in English Language Studies in 2006 from International Islamic University in Malaysia. There are a number of publications in the field of online learning and online communication and collaborative learning and peer feedback in writing and types of feedback. He supervised 15 MA theses at Hebron University and was an internal and external examiner for 20 MA and Ph.D. theses. Administrative positions included Chair of the English Department from 2009 until 2013, Editorial Secretary of Hebron University Research Journal from 2007 until the present time. He has presented a number of papers in local and international conferences. He is on the Advisory Board of Arab World English Journal and an active member in the APETAU Association.

Manal Minshar

Manal Abu Minshar

Institution: Hebron University

Manal achieved her PhD from Yarmouk University –Jordan in 2012. She is now a lecturer at the College of Education at Hebron University since 2012 and the head of the department since 2016.

Manal has worked as a teachers’ trainer in the project of improving the quality of education and has designed numerous training modules. Manal participated in many projects about using smart devices in education, and about developing the primary education program courses. She also participated in a number of workshops to improve the quality of education in the Palestinian universities. She has supervised many masters students. Her research interests lie in the area of teaching methods.

MontaserAl-Halabi

Munther Mohammad Zyoud

Affiliation: Al-Quds Open University

Specialism: English Language Teaching/ Educational Technology.

Zyoud is currently an assistant professor of English Language Teaching at Al-Quds Open University (QOU) in Palestine, based in the faculty of Educational Sciences. He has held many roles in the university as an administrative assistant to the Director of Jenin Branch, and as a faculty member. His publications include Using drama in teaching English and the development of speaking skills. Zyoud participated in many international projects led by outside partners and sponsors including the world Banks, and Erasmus+. Zyoud is the coordinator of Erasmus-K107 mobility with Malaga University Spain. Zyoud was a member of the organizing and scientific committee of several conferences held in Palestine. He also participated in many training programmes and workshops help in Palestine, United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey within a project funded by the Erasmus+ in 2020 and GCRF with Canterbury Christ Church University. Zyoud is also a member of many local and international organizations and associations.

DimaHalawani

Dima Halawani

Affiliation: Al Quds University

Dima is currently working as AQU science Museum director, she also works as the Science Education consultant for Faisal Husseini foundation projects. She had played different roles in education ranging from training and providing consultancy for in service science teachers, training family members on how to motivate their kids to learn science, lecturing, assessing programs, developing educational plans and programs for the museum visitors. She has hands on experience in designing interactive science activities, designing exhibits for the science museum as well. Her major focus in training science teachers is integrating STEAM approach in teaching, with the emphasis on using scientific research steps in teaching science. She produced two practical manuals in this field (in Arabic) for the use of science teachers.

OsamaHamdouna

Osama S. Hamdouna

Institution: Al Azhar University-Gaza

Osama is the Dean and Associate professor at the Faculty of Education at the Al Azhar University-Gaza. He has a strong background in project management and he has coordinated the National Teacher Development Centre (NTDC), as well as the “Improving Education in Primary Schools in Gaza” project. In addition to his practical experience, he has published several papers in the field of psychology of education and inclusive education. He published Several papers in psychology in general and mental health in particular.
