IPDA Cymru hosts art of leadership seminar and awards Howard Tanner Prize

This seminar was facilitated by Dr Alex Alexandrou at Fitzalan High School on 6th June 2017. The theme ‘the art of leadership’ presented a unique opportunity to tap into the expertise of Dr Alexandrou who has worked extensively in the fields of leadership, human resource management and continuing professional development, as an academic and practitioner.
The theme discussed:
- How do you know that you are ready for leadership?
- Professional learning and development for leadership in Wales – fit for purpose?
Dr Howard tanner Research Prize
The first picture shows Simon Hoskins winner of the ‘Dr. Howard Tanner Research Prize’, awarded for his MA (Ed) Leadership Dissertation completed at UWTSD on ‘School leadership Pathways: Alternative Routes to Primary Headship’.
