IPDA Cymru hosts webinar on online education in changing times

Laptop

This event took place on Thursday 25th June 2020.

COVID-19 has caused rapid shifts in all education contexts to what’s been called ‘emergency remote teaching’. With safety measures set to be in place for some time increased expectations for online and blended learning in the upcoming academic / school year are inevitable.

Fortunately, online and blended learning is nothing new and there is breadth of evidence and good practice to draw upon.

In this session we explored some principles of online learning and teaching that can help educators with this shift in practice. We considered different ways and examples of putting principles into practice and also think about the learner experience when learning online.
