IPDA Researchers’ Retreat – a productive day of focus and networking

In April 2023, IPDA’s first online ‘Researchers’ Retreat’ took place. The event was a very busy, but productive day, of focused work and an opportunity for the 25 attendees who signed up to make a good dent on their research projects.
Some attendees crunched their data, others wrote chapters or thought pieces, some read and made notes whilst a few prepped for their upcoming submissions or vivas. It was a great space to put time aside and get doctoral stuff done!
Throughout the day, the attendees came back together to network, chat and exchange tips and ideas, as it was great opportunity to meet like-minded doctoral candidates.
Attendees said how useful the day was and wanted more in the future!
