The aims of IPDA England are to provide opportunities for members and their colleagues to address and act on issues concerning professional development and learning at a local and regional level.

IPDA England aims to provide opportunities for professionals working across practitioner contexts, including all educational sectors in England to engage with practice, policy and research together.
During the year IPDA England offers seminars and workshops at different locations across the country with the intention of strengthening the voice of educators leading professional development and learning, and to provide support as they face their demanding role.
For 2020 we plan to offer workshops covering:
- Teacher development – fit for purpose?
- Teacher wellbeing and its implications for professional development
IPDA England follows the values, principles and constitution of IPDA International and has representation on the IPDA International Committee. Members of IPDA England are also members of IPDA International.
